You are a student candidate if you are graduating from an accredited engineering program at UBC, SFU, or BCIT, and will complete graduation requirements prior to the Ceremony.

You should follow the postgraduate application process if you are a previous UBC, SFU or BCIT graduate, or are a candidate with an engineering Bachelor’s degree from a foreign institution.

  Registration and payment open up via Showpass for student candidate

  You must complete this step to finalize registration for yourself.

• August 19, 2026

  Ticket sale for Ring Presenter and Guest ticket starts.

• September 20, 2026

  Last day for Showpass registration and payment.

• September 20, 2026

  Camp 5 will verify anticipated graduation status of student candidates, and will reach out to those who have not completed graduation requirements by October 2026 to defer their graduation to attend next year’s ceremony.    

• October 6, 2026

  Last day to purchase any guest tickets, while quantities last. Ticket sales are online only; no sales will be available at the doors.

• October 6, 2026

  Attend the Ceremony! The ceremony will take place in the early evening.

  Complete your obligation and obtain your ring.

• November 6, 2026

  Obligants will have one month to exchange their ring to a different size for free.  

  Submit a request online for ring exchange.   Details will be posted after the ceremony.
