Complete the Postgraduate Eligibility Application Form prior to purchasing a ticket through Showpass.

Current UBC, SFU, and BCIT students should register as Student Candidates.

  Postgraduate application and registration opens.

  We verify your eligibility and notify you on the results. 

• August 19, 2026

  Approved postgraduate candidates will be provided a password to register and pay for a ticket via Showpass.

  You must complete this step to finalize your application.

• August 19, 2026

  Ticket sale for Ring Presenter and Guest ticket starts.

• September 13, 2026

  Last day for postgraduate eligibility application.

• September 20, 2026

  Last day for Showpass registration and payment.

• October 6, 2026

  Last day to purchase any guest tickets, while quantities last. Ticket sales are online only; no sales will be available at the doors.

• October 6, 2026

  Attend the Ceremony!  The ceremony will take place in the early evening.

  Complete your obligation and obtain your ring.

• November 6, 2026

  Obligants will have one month to exchange their ring to a different size for free.   

  Submit a request online for ring exchange.   Details will be posted after the ceremony.
