You are a student candidate if you are graduating from an accredited engineering program at BCIT, SFU or UBC; and will complete graduation requirements by April of 2026.

You should follow the postgraduate application process if you are a BCIT, SFU or UBC graduate in the Spring/Summer of 2025 or prior, or a candidate with an engineering Bachelor’s degree from a foreign institution.

Student candidates who graduated in the Fall of 2025, but missed registration or attedance for the 2025 Fall ceremony can apply as a student candidate for the 2026 Spring Ceremony.

  Registration and payment open up via Showpass for student candidate

  You must complete this step to finalize registration for yourself.

• January 2, 2026

  Ticket sale for Ring Presenter and Gust ticket starts.

• January 31, 2026

  Last day for Showpass registration and payment.

• March, 2026

  Camp 5 will verify anticipated graduation status of student candidates, and will reach out to those who have not completed graduation requirements by April 2026 to defer their graduation to attend next year’s ceremony.    

• April 1, 2026

  Last day to purchase any guest tickets, while quantities last.

• April 1, 2026

  Attend the Ceremony at at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre! The ceremony will take place in the afternoon to early evening.

  Complete your obligation and obtain your ring.

• April 15, 2026

  2026 Spring obligants will have one month to exchange for a different size for free.  

  Submit a request online for ring exchange.   Details will be posted after the ceremony.
