You are a student candidate if you are graduating from an accredited engineering program at BCIT, SFU or UBC in either the Fall of 2022 or the Spring/Summer of 2023.

You should follow the postgraduate application process if you are a BCIT, SFU or UBC graduate in the Spring/Summer of 2022 or prior, or a candidate with an engineering Bachelor’s degree from a foreign institution.

Student candidates who registered for the 2022 ceremony and deferred your graduation and obligation don’t need to apply again. We will reach out to you early 2023 with more details.

• October – November, 2022 

  Student representatives will host ring sizing activities around campus.  

  Talk to them to find your ring size and other information about the Ceremony.

• November 1, 2022

  Registration and payment webpage opens up.  

  You must complete this step to finalize your registration.

• January 15, 2023

  Last day for you to register for the 2023 ceremony as a student candidate.

• February – March, 2023

  Registration for guest ring presenters opens up online.  

  Camp 5 will verify anticipated graduation status of student candidates, and will reach out to those who plan to defer their graduation to attend next year’s ceremony.    

• March 1, 2023

  We will host an online ceremony briefing webinar to provide more details about the Ceremony. 

  Please check your registration e-mail for your invitation.

• March 30, 2023

  Attend the Ceremony at the Vancouver Convention Centre! The ceremony will take place in the afternoon to early evening.

  Complete your obligation and obtain your ring.

• April 30, 2023

  2023 obligants will have one month to exchange for a different size for free.  

  Submit a request online for ring exchange.   Details will be posted after the ceremony.
